5 State Parks That I Want To Visit

In 2013, not long after Beard and I got married, we took a trip to Turkey Run State Park in Indiana. You can see my post about it here. Since then, we have visited several State (and National) parks and I have loved every single one. There's just something about being in nature with other people who appreciate it just as much as you that makes the experience that much more awesome.

Because I had so much fun on those trips, I have made a list of 5 State Parks I want  to visit sooner than later. These aren't really listed in priority to me at all, but I did include the driving time next to each park so you can kinda see what I'm working with.

1. Hocking Hills State Park - Ohio (6hrs + 21min)

2 Watkins Glen State Park - New York (8hrs + 37min)

3. Starved Rock State Park - Illinois (3hrs + 35min)

4. Natural Bridge State Resort Park - Kentucky (7hrs + 22min)

5. Laughing Whitefish Falls State Park - Michigan (6hrs + 45min)

Some of these Beard and I could knock off pretty quickly, while others might take us longer (I'm looking at you, Watkins Glen...)

Have you ever been to any of these parks? If so, which ones and what did you love about it? Anything Beard and I should do in the local area if we ever do get the change to go?
