Magnetic Fake Succulent Decor

I have a confession: I can't keep any plant alive in my house. My longest running try was a succulent Beard and I bought when were dating, and I'm 98% sure that just recently it kicked the bucket. I'm still holding out hope, but deep down inside I know that all the instagram feeds full of pretty homes with pretty plants are only in the cards for me if their in my dreams. I won't lie, I was kinda down about it until I realized one thing... THEY MAKE FAKE PLANTS THAT LOOK PRETTY DARN REAL! With my love for pretty green things renewed, I have put together several DIY's involving fake plants. This one is my favorite because it's the cheapest.

You will need:
-Small Magnetic Planter (I saved this from the last plant I killed)
-Fake Succulent (I got mine at the dollar store!)
-Butter Knife (optional)

Start by cutting the succulent out of it's planter with the knife. This was really simple. I just went around the edge and it pulled free.

The second step is REALLY hard (not). Just pop the succulent into the planter. There you go. You're done.

Your third step is to stick it on your fridge (or anywhere else that it will stay put!) and admire your lazy DIY. ;)

I put together this simple step-by-step diagram for you guys, so go ahead and share it with all the other lazy succulent and DIY loving people you know! I would love to see your own variations of the simple project, so if you make one show us on social media with #TNEmakes!
