Master Bedroom Inspiration

I shared a picture of our bedroom when I gave a quick walk through on this post. One thing I knew for sure when we first walked through was that the room needed to be painted and we needed to get rid of the pink curtains.

On top of the painting and curtain removal, I new I wanted keep the color scheme light and airy. We already decided to go with a grey duvet cover before we moved, so I wanted to incorporate that.

We have some olive green paint left over from the dining room, so I'm going to give our dresser a face lift. It's old, but I think I can give it new life with some paint and new drawer pulls. I also want to add some DIY shelves into a section of wall that's kind of inset, and get some meaningful art pieces on the walls.

These are some photos I've been pinning as I've been planning out this room. One of the things I love about our room is how much amazing natural light we get. I see a lot of natural light coming through in my inspiration pins.

Here's my to do list for this room:
-Remove wallpaper boarder
-Paint
-Mount bookshelves
-Paint dresser
-Hang art

I can't wait to get this room put together, but realistically it will probably be the last room I finish on this floor.
