5 Things

I'm back again with my 5 favorite things this week. I decided to mix it up by tossing a #throwback as number one.
1. The cup of coffee pictured above made while we were camping a couple weekends ago. Delicious.
2. I love that Elise is offering her Make 29 prints as mini prints all bundled together.
3. I've been in love with Poler ever since I managed their E-commerce shipping department back in the day. I'm really loving their newest adventure.
4. The fact that Jordan and I were both home and had no plans this past weekend.
5. The passion and love for the Lord that these ladies have.
Thanks for letting me do a mental dump of fun things here, guys! I love writing these posts because it let's me share some of my favorite things and some super pointless things with you.
Have a great weekend!
Shalom,
M

Girls Day

Can I just start this post by telling you how over-due it is? These pictures are from when there was still snow on the ground.
Whew, now that I said that - let me tell you about this awesome girl day.
On one of the weekends Jordan and I were back in Caro, Jess Whipple invited me on a "girl day adventure."

We went to a coffee shop call Populace in Bay City (it's amazing, you should go there) and I fell in love. Not only is it perfect in every way and oh so adorable, they have fantastic coffee. They were just recently featured on A Beautiful Mess, so you know they must be pretty great.
We also stopped at a few other stores in Bay City. No photos were taken because I was so busy marveling at how cute everything was in this cute little town, but you should seriously drop everything you're doing and head there for a day trip. Now.
After that we went to Painterly Pottery and got artistic. I stuck with something easy (polka dots) but the other ladies were way more talented than me and they made some pretty snazzy creations. Jess and I both painted measuring cups and hers turned out so well! What a fun way to spend some time! I can't wait to do it again.

All in all, a fantastic day with some lovely ladies! It really showed me how important female friendships are the older you get.
So what about you guys, do you plan any "girl day adventures" with your friends? If so, how often? I would love to get something like this going with a group of my friends!
Shalom,
M

10 Things // I Love About My Husband

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

1 Corinthians 13

I am so loved by my husband. The amount of care and devotion he shows me is breathtaking. His love for me makes me feel the way the a gorgeous landscape does. I am in awe. I don't want to make you all jealous, but Jordan is the best man I know. Now I'm just being gross, I know. Sorry, not sorry. I can't help it.

1. He loves the Lord - simple, self explanatory.
2. His love for the Lord has made him love me like Christ loves the church.
3. He's honest. And sometimes it's painful, but man, I've never had someone tell me my faults so nicely before.
4. He's manly. Now I know you're thinking, "Margeaux... did that really have to go on the list?" You think I'm silly and whatever. But let me tell you what - that man could keep us both alive if the walking dead was more than just a great tv show and for that, I am quite thankful.
5. He's a hard worker.
6. He  vacuums. *first pump*
7. He supports my creative endeavors.
8. He's great with money.
9. He's patient, loving and kind - (rolled 3 into one, but they all intertwine)
10. He's pretty darn good looking.
