Sigh. I love when rooms have an open feeling. White walls with definition found in interesting, strategically placed pieces. These four rooms really popped out at me when I was setting up this edition. I love the antlers and the twig light fixture.

Sometimes I get so excited about making things I can hardly see straight. I had the day off work yesterday and I feel so incredibly productive. I finished a lot of projects, brainstormed new products and worked on a new exciting site.
You should all run over and check out the shop - I added a couple new things this weekend. Also check out some snap shots from my day off.
What do you guys do when you get some free time? What did you do this weekend?
I love graphics in the home, from shapes to interesting wall textiles - I am hooked by simplicity of a pop of color or something unique. I'm trying to work things like this into our home. We're constantly working on something... this week it was the basement. Yay.
But really - the end result is enough to keep me going. I really enjoy working toward a goal - and it just so happens that my goal is always developing, so I always have something keeping me busy.
What about you guys? What kinds of projects do you guys try to tackle around the house?
Last week Donna, Kara, Liz and I went up to Grayling for Donna's birthday. We played cards, sat by a bon fire, hiked, canoed and had a blast. I love living with Jordan, but some good 'ol fashioned girl time is always nice.
What do you guys do when you get away for a weekend?
A couple of weeks ago Beard and I were able to check something off of of our joined bucket list. We scored tickets to see Brand New in Grand Rapids at the Intersection. I've been to a lot of concerts, but this was by far the best one. I've wanted to see Brand New for years and when Jordan and I started dating we realized that they were pretty much the only band we liked.
I wanted to show you guys a custom order that I sent to a customer earlier this week. I'm loving the simple closure I included. She liked the design of another pillow I had listed, but wanted a custom size & color that would work better for her. Challenge accepted.
I used sisal twine to make loops and none of the buttons match - so it's quirky and unique. I love the stripes and polka dots. I also used red string to stitch on the buttons for a little contrast.
I also love the packaging. Simple and elegant. Man, oh man. I love this pillow case.
I hope you all are having a wonderful Saturday! Doing anything fun?
Our kitchen needs some help... I would at least like to say that I've started making it somewhat "homey" but that would be a lie. Unfortunately, the place that is usually the hub of activity in a home is a blob. No character and I'm pretty sure there is a stack of dishes on the counter. What can I say? I'm not very domestic. I am making a change, though! Cute kitchen on a budget here I come! I've been cooking a lot more at home - and my dreary kitchen is bring me down. Check out these cute pictures - just a few of the ones I've compiled to breathe inspiration into my dusty non-domestic bones.
Do you guys have any quick kitchen decor tips? I would love to hear them!
